DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
NUMBER 8 OF 2010

CONCERNING
NATIONAL CONCIL OF SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering:

a. that to implement development of Special Economic Zones, in national level it is necessary to establish National Council of Special Economic Zones;

b. that based on Article 15 paragraph (1) of Law Number 39 of 2009 concerning Special Economic Zones, National Council of Special Economic Zones is established by Presidential Decree;

c. that based on consideration as intended in paragraphs a and b, it is necessary to stipulate Presidential Regulation concerning National Council of Special Economic Zones;

In view of:

1. Article 4 paragraph (1) of Indonesia Constitution of 1945;

2. Law Number 39 of 2009 concerning Special Economic Zones (Statute Book of the Republic of Indonesia Number 147 of 2009, Supplement to Statute Book of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5066);

DECIDES:

To stipulate

PRESIDENTIAL REGULATION CONCERNING NATIONAL COUNCIL OF SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES.

FIRST:

To determine National Council of Special Economic Zones, hereinafter called as National Council, with membership structure as follows:

Leader and also Member: Coordination Minister of Economic Affairs

Members:

• 1. Minister of Finance
• 2. Minister of Trade;
• 3. Minister of Industry;
• 4. Minister of Domestic Affairs;
• 5. Minister of Public Works;
• 6. Minister of Transportation;
• 7. Minister of Manpower and Transmigration;
• 8. Minister of National Development Plan/Head of National Development Plant Board;
• 9. Head of Investment Coordination Board.

SECOND:

National Council has responsibility and reports duties implementation result to the President periodically or in any time if requested.

THIRD:

All costs required for the implementation of National Council duties are charged to Expenditure Budget of Coordination Ministry of Economic Affairs.

FOURTH:

This Presidential Decree shall come into force on the stipulation date.
